Gerd Biewer
Gerd Biewer (born February 9, 1926 in Saarlouis ; † March 29, 1981 in East Berlin ) was a German actor and voice actor .
Life
After training as an actor, Biewer received theater engagements in Koblenz, Rheydt and Lübeck before joining the Berliner Ensemble in 1953 and moving to the Volksbühne Berlin in 1961 , to whose ensemble he was a member until his death. In addition, he played in numerous film and television productions, including Polonia-Express , The Green Monster , Nachtasyl , Im Schlaraffenland , The Last Word and The Murdered One Intervenes .
As a voice actor he lent his voice to Vittorio de Sica ( Under the Sign of Venus ) and Sidney James ( Cleo, love and antiquity , the DEFA version of Carry on Cleo ).
He was married to Brigitte Krause , their daughter is Maxi Biewer . He died by suicide in 1981 .
