(812) Adele is an asteroid of the main belt , which on September 8, 1915 by the Russian astronomer Sergei Ivanovich Beljavski the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory in simeiz was discovered.

The asteroid was probably named after the character of the same name from the operetta Die Fledermaus by Johann Strauss .
