The Gynecologist is a medical journal, the articles of which are subject to a peer-review process. It publishes practical reviews on topics in gynecology , endocrinology , reproductive medicine and obstetrics . As the official training body of the German Society for Gynecology and Obstetrics e. V. (DGGG), certified CME contributions are also offered.
The magazine is published by an editorial board in cooperation with the German Society for Gynecology and Obstetrics and has been published by Springer Verlag since 1968 .
The editorial board includes Klaus Diedrich , Günter Emons, Klaus Friese , Wolfgang Janni, Walter Jonat , Marion Kiechle, Rolf Kreienberg , Nicolai Maass, Olaf Ortmann , Thomas Strowitzki and Klaus Vetter .
The magazine is devoted to a changing main topic every month, which is supplemented by the sections picture and case , CME further training - certified further training , women's health in practice , read for you , current gynecology and medical law . Individual contributions will be published on the Internet as Online First articles before they are later printed out .
