The Gynecologist is a medical journal, the articles of which are subject to a peer-review process. It publishes practical reviews on topics in gynecology , endocrinology , reproductive medicine and obstetrics . As the official training body of the German Society for Gynecology and Obstetrics e. V. (DGGG), certified CME contributions are also offered.

The magazine is published by an editorial board in cooperation with the German Society for Gynecology and Obstetrics and has been published by Springer Verlag since 1968 .
