Das Haus am See is a German television play by Gert Kudelka from 1965. The criminological television play appeared as the second episode in the film series The Public Prosecutor Has the Word .

Max Bernhard, the new owner of the excursion restaurant “Haus am See”, turns the run-down restaurant into a pearl of gastronomy. In order to quickly raise the necessary funds for extensions and furnishings, he unscrupulously increases his income through small portions and thin coffee. In the end, the prosecutor's charge is fraud and tax evasion. Verdict: 2 years imprisonment with probation.
