Der Rosenkavalier is an East German television film by Jürgen Sehmisch from 1967. The criminological television play was released as the 3rd episode in the film series The Public Prosecutor Has the Word .

Randolf Gutschke has developed from a womanizer into a marriage fraud and, moreover, tempts the members of his brigade to stroll around work. In the end, he tricked himself into making false promises to his brigadier's sister of all people. The Rosenkavalier is convicted of fraud.

The Rosenkavalier was created at the end of 1965 / beginning of 1966 in the area of responsibility of the GDR television network, Dramatic Art. The exact production time as well as the locations and the commentary manuscript have not survived.
