Walter Richter-Reinick
Walter Fritz Richter-Reinick (born April 14, 1911 in Berlin ; † December 14, 1984 there ; actually Walter Richter ) was a German actor and voice actor .
life and work
Walter Richter grew up in an artistic family, later learned to be a bank clerk, then took private acting lessons and played at venues in Schleswig, Senftenberg, Cottbus, Dresden and, from 1953, at various Berlin theaters such as the Maxim-Gorki-Theater , the German Theater and the Metropol Theater . In 1962 he moved to the DFF acting company .
Apart from his stage work, Richter, who appeared under the pseudonym Richter-Reinick, was mainly seen in contemporary plays and swans for GDR television, often directed by Hans Knötzsch and Günter Stahnke . However, he also played character roles in DEFA feature films, such as the criminal shunter in The Second Track (1962), sometimes alongside his son Dietmar . The national prize winner had to end his artistic career in 1977 for health reasons.
