Anders, a graduate chemist, receives the order to transfer a new development to ongoing production via a large-scale test. He shows great interest in this project, because success would above all be his success. So he drives the collective irresponsibly, ignores justified doubts and single-handedly causes an accident. The plot shows that poor leadership, the violation of socialist democracy, rivalries and unhealthy ambitions lead to gross misconduct by responsible leaders and can very easily encourage crime.
