Roman Silberstein

Roman Silberstein (born November 18, 1932 in Berlin ; † April 27, 2001 there ) was a German actor and artistic director .

Life

As a stage actor, Roman Silberstein had engagements in Leipzig, Halle and Berlin, there at the Maxim Gorki Theater and at the Volksbühne . Another place where Silberstein worked was the Gerhart-Hauptmann-Theater Görlitz-Zittau , whose fortunes he directed from 1982 to 1988 as artistic director.

In addition to some radio play productions by the GDR radio , Silberstein was also regularly present on the screen since the early 1960s, including in the crime series The Public Prosecutor Has the Word , Police Call 110 and Blaulicht .

Roman Silberstein died at the age of 68 in his hometown.
