Ostara Körner (born December 3, 1926 in Leipzig - † November 30, 2011 in Berlin ) was a German actress .

Life

From 1950 to 1953 Ostara Körner was trained as an actress at the Leipzig Conservatory and the State Drama School in Berlin . She made her debut at the Deutsches Theater in Berlin . She initially had a permanent position at the Maxim-Gorki-Theater until she became self-employed as a freelance actress.

She became known to a wide audience through DEFA films and took part in over 40 film and television productions. She made her debut as a film actress in 1953 in the drama Little and Big Happiness . The German-Czech fairy tale film Three Hazelnuts for Cinderella , in which she played Countess Stauff, was certainly the most successful internationally .

On television she was, among other things, often in the TV series The Public Prosecutor has the floor , in the television series Die Frauen der Wardins as well as the television series Polizeiruf 110 .
