Deric Payton McCabe (born August 28, 2008 in Whitefish , Montana ) is an American actor who has been a child actor since 2016 .

life and career

Deric Payton McCabe was born on August 28, 2008 to a US father (Eric) and a Filipina (Judith) in the city of Whitefish, Montana. When he was just over a year old, the family moved to Los Angeles . He made his first notable appearance in film and television in 2016 in the role of Lucca in the award-winning short film XXIII Boss by filmmaker Philip Marlatt . A year later he took part in his first major feature film when he played a little boy in the fantasy horror film Stephanie - The Evil Inside Her . Far more important, however, was his role in JP Mandarino's The KAOS Brief, which he starred that same year, starring a younger version of the character portrayed by Drew Lipson , Skylar . He then celebrated his breakthrough in 2018 when, after five consecutive auditions, he received the role of Charles Wallace in the Disney production The Time Puzzle in the summer of 2016 .
