The Denauer Pfarrwingert is a single location in the German wine-growing region Ahr and is considered a top location in the municipality of Dernau . It is part of the large Klosterberg site in the Walporzheim / Ahrtal area . The vineyards are at a height of 125 to 220  m above sea level. NHN . The Pfarrwingert shares the ideal orientation with the Dernauer Hardtberg site , which begins to the east and above the Pfarrwingert site.

The name of this single site is derived from the word Wingert (vineyard). In fact, the Pfarrwingert is a former property of the Catholic parish church of Dernau.

The south-facing steep slope encompasses almost 10 hectares of vineyards with a slope of up to 60%. Only 10% of this area is sloping, the rest is steep. The red wine varieties Pinot Noir (67%), Blue Portuguese (11%), Dornfelder , Frühburgunder and Regent (11%) are grown on the greywacke and slate soils . In the white varieties, Riesling , Kerner , Müller-Thurgau and Optima (11%) predominate . The Portuguese and Riesling grapes, which were still popular in the early 1970s (their share at that time was 45%), lost a lot of their importance.

Around nine hectares of the designated area are currently planted.

A former federal government bunker is hidden in the depths of the mountain. The western access to the government bunker is located in the Dernauer Hardtberg area with component 223 .

The VDP - Weingüter Kreuzberg and Meyer-Näkel , for example, have shares in the location .
