history
Dessauer and Leipziger Bergfreunde expanded the hut in Papstdorf between 1997 and 1999. Since then it has been used and operated jointly.

hikes
- Hike from the “Dessauer Hütte” to the Papststein and back.
- Caves at Gohrisch and Kleinhennersdorfer Stein : The start is the soil nature trail at Gohrisch , it then continues to the Sweden cave and the soapstone tunnel. Then change over the Hunskirchen am Papststein to Kleinhennerstdorfer Stein with its spectacular light cave. It goes back over the summit of "the highest table mountain with the shortest ascent".
