Detlef Bielke

Detlef Bielke (* 5. November 1952 in Hoyerswerda ) is a German keyboardist of fusion jazz and composer .

Live and act

Bielke studied piano from 1974 to 1979 at the "Hanns Eisler" Academy of Music in Berlin . He also taught at the Cottbus Conservatory between 1978 and 1982 . Since then he has been working as a freelance musician.

In 1981 he founded Quo vadis as his first band . Since 1982 he has been part of Horst Krüger's band . In 1984 Günther Fischer brought him into his band, which he still belongs to today. He worked with Uschi Brüning and Ernst-Ludwig Petrowsky , but also as a theater musician at the Schlosstheater Celle , Staatstheater Cottbus , Schlossparktheater Berlin , Cottbuser Kindermusical , piccolo-Theater Cottbus and as a studio musician . He was also involved in radio productions for RBB and MDR .

With Torsten Karow and Siegbert Himpel, he received the German Youth Musical Prize in 2008 in the category "Best Original Composition" for "When Trees Speak."
