The ARD-Deutschlandtrend (own spelling ARD-DeutschlandTrend ) has been a monthly survey of political opinions since 1997 on behalf of ARD and the daily newspapers of Infratest dimap .

The data are collected in a representative telephone survey of around 1,000 to 1,500 Germans who are randomly selected and eligible to vote . In addition to questions about political trends such as the Sunday question , opinions on current issues are asked.
