In chemistry, the diaminotoluenes form a group of aromatic compounds that are derived from both toluene and phenylenediamines . The structure consists of a benzene ring with an attached methyl group (-CH 3 ) and two amino groups (-NH 2 ) as substituents . Their different arrangement results in six constitutional isomers with the empirical formula C 7 H 10 N 2 .
