Diba Hakimi (born May 25, 1990 in Hamburg ) is a German singer who became known through the talent show Popstars - Girls forever .

biography

Diba Hakimi was born and raised in Hamburg as the youngest of three daughters of an Afghan family. She attended the Mümmelmannsberg comprehensive school up to the twelfth grade . She completed her final school year at the Alter Teichweg Comprehensive School and graduated from high school in 2009. Since then she has been working in her father's company.

Career

She became known through her participation in the ninth season of the show Popstars - Girls Forever in 2010, in which the band LaVive was cast and Diba Hakimi was one of the finalists.

Until 2013 she sang alongside Gabriela Gottschalk and Silva Gonzalez and in place of former member Fernanda Brandão in the band Hot Banditoz . At the same time she is working on a solo album. Diba Hakimi left the band in April 2013 and paused due to personal circumstances. Diba is currently working on her solo album and is committed to helping children in need in Afghanistan. Diba Hakimi lives in Hamburg.
