Didier Digard (born July 12, 1986 in Gisors , Eure ) is a French football player .
Career
Digard began his career at Le Havre AC , where he played for eight years. In the summer of 2007, Aston Villa and West Ham United from the English Premier League were interested in him. Digard finally decided to stay in France and signed a three-year contract with Paris Saint-Germain . On July 4, 2008, Middlesbrough FC signed him for £ 4 million. He made his debut for Middlesbrough in the first game of the 2008/09 season when he came on for Tuncay Şanlı in the 72nd minute. He scored his first goal on August 26, 2008 in the Carling Cup against Yeovil Town . In January 2010, Digard signed a loan deal with OGC Nice until the end of June 2010.
In 2015 he moved to Spain to Betis Sevilla and a year later to CA Osasuna . For the second half of 2017/18 he joined the second division club FC Lorca after he was without a club in the first half of the season.
