reception

Franziska Badenschier writes on zeit.de that “ The Alps - Our mountains from above have everything that the nature film - or adventure film - should make successful”, but that the whole thing lacks “a guiding principle”. Katharina Granzin from filmstarts.de describes "the film's outstanding camera, with which it was shot", as "the film's strength". At the same time, however, she criticizes the “lack of change in perspective of the permanent top view from above”. The concept of the film prevents “any close-up or even inside views”.
