Die fantastischen Vier (Original title: The Fantastic Four ) is the first animated series by Hanna Barbera , which is based on the superheroes from the Marvel Comics series The Fantastic Four created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby . The series consists of a series of 19 episodes of 25 minutes each. In Germany, the series was broadcast on the private broadcaster Pro 7 from July 1, 1991 as part of the Trick 7 program

Through cosmic rays, Reed Richards, Johnny and his sister Susan Storm and Ben Grimm receive different superpowers and henceforth act as a team against criminals, super villains and aliens. The child-friendly implementation of the individual episodes is self-contained and based on the stories of the original comic books.
