Jo Ann Pflug also JoAnn Pflug (born May 2, 1940 in Atlanta , Georgia ) is an American actress in film and television. She played roles in films like MASH , Catlow - Life for a Dead , Where Does It Hurt? or midnight in the garden of good and bad .

life and career

Jo Ann Pflug was born in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1940. Her father, J. Lynn Pflug, was elected Mayor of Winter Park in 1958. That same year, Jo Ann Pflug graduated from Winter Park High School in Winter Park, Florida, near Orlando. She then studied at the University of Miami in Coral Gables in Florida. In 1966 she started her film and television career.

She played Pflug's first major film role in Robert Altman's successful military satire MASH in 1970 as US Army nurse Lt Maria "Dish" Schneider.
