action

Jason's father is arrested for allegedly embezzling school money. The school is threatened with bankruptcy, and cuts are being made everywhere. When Jason's classmate Alice sees how poorly the computer network of the US Mint's mint is secure, she develops a plan to raise money for the school: They want to break into the mint in order to deliberately produce slightly faulty coins, which they can then use sell dearly to coin collectors. The two get support from Jason's ex-girlfriend Dakota, who brings her organizational talent, and Benny, who is tech-savvy.

When they then put their plan into action, they are watched by their art teacher, Mr. Rankin. He brings the four to the headmaster, who then decides to accept the coins as an anonymous donation for the school and in return grants the four immunity.
