The Berlin police banned him with a youth ban (No. 40272), the Munich police did not allow any announcement as a detective film (No. 23627, 23628, 23629, 23630). A test performance in front of a paying audience also took place in January 1917, the actual world premiere was on February 2, 1917 in the Berlin marble house.
