The innocent murderess (Original title: I Know What You Did ) is an American thriller from 1998 . Directed by Chuck Bowman , the screenplay was written by Tom Gates and Paul Stefaniak .
action
Sex crime lawyer Stacey Keane, who specializes in criminal trials, has methods of controversy, but she is professionally successful. One day she herself is raped by the public prosecutor Justin Decker, who then mocks her and questions the prospect of a complaint. Disturbed, she kills Decker and hides his body.
Coincidentally, Keane's fiance Richard Younger, a police officer, is entrusted with the investigation. Keane is blackmailed by Philly Ross, who witnessed the events. She is charged with murder and brought to justice, where she takes on her own defense.
