Diedrich Lahusen

Diedrich Lahusen (born December 22, 1852 in Bremen , † April 25, 1927 ) was a German lawyer and judge .

family

His father was Christian Lahusen , the founder of Nordwolle AG. His mother Anna was the daughter of the Mayor of Bremen Diederich Meier . Gustav Lahusen and Johann Carl Lahusen were brothers of his. His son was the historian Johannes Lahusen (1884–1918). His daughter Henny married Herbert Stadler .

Life

After graduating, he became a lawyer in 1876 . In 1879 he moved to the bench. In 1893 he was promoted to the higher regional judge. In 1897 he was appointed to the Imperial Court. He belonged only to the First Civil Senate of the Reich Court . On January 15, 1899 he received the Order of the Red Eagle, IV class. He retired on June 1, 1900. In 1903 Lahusen had the Art Nouveau villa "Haus Sonneck" built by the Bremen architects Eduard Gildemeister and Sunkel in Freiburg im Breisgau on the Lorettoberg at Mercystraße 22 . He also lived in the Blumenthalstrasse residential group .
