Diego Perren (born January 10, 1965 ) is a Swiss curler and Olympic champion
His international debut had Perren at the Junior World Championships 1983 in Medicine Hat , but he remained without a medal. In 1996 he won his first precious metal with a bronze medal at the 1996 World Championships in Hamilton .
Perren played as lead for Switzerland at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano . The team became Olympic champion after a 9: 3 win in the final against Canada by Skip Mike Harris .
