Dieter "Titus" Lemke (born April 14, 1956 in Menden ; † February 15, 2015 there ) was a German football player and coach .

Life and career

The striker Lemke moved in 1980 from his home club BSV Menden to the Bundesliga for VfL Bochum . In the following two years he played 27 times for Bochum and scored one goal. He had his most successful season in 1982/1983 when he moved from Bochum to the second division for SC Fortuna Köln . Here he formed a dreaded storm duo with Dieter Schatzschneider , which played a decisive role in the fact that Jean Löring's club reached the final of the DFB Cup in 1983 , which against local rivals 1.FC Köln with a goal by Pierre Littbarski with 0: 1 was lost.

Dieter Lemke played for Fortuna Cologne in the second division until 1987. He came to 94 second division appearances for Cologne and scored 23 goals.

After his active time, Lemke was a coach at SC 1912 Hennen from 2005, with whom he was promoted to the district league in 2008. On the 12th match day of the 2008/09 season, he resigned from his position at halftime in the game against TuRa Bruges , which ended in a 6-0 defeat.
