Dieter Münstermann (born August 16, 1969 in Thun ) is a Swiss football coach who has been coaching the FC Luzern women in the National League A since June 2016 .
Player career
Münstermann began his active career at FC Wettingen, later he also played for FC Lerchenfeld and FC Thun. With the latter he also played in the NLB relegation.
Coaching career
Münstermann trained the U16 team of FC Luzern with which he became Swiss champion before becoming assistant coach in Aarau. When Maurizio Jacobacci left FC Wilver , Münstermann was already in talks for his successor. The club management decided in favor of Uli Forte . After he changed clubs after two years, Münstermann, who had meanwhile led FC Biel-Bienne into the Challenge League , took over as coach in Wil. He only had this for a year. Because of alleged poor performance, the contract was terminated by mutual agreement in November 2009. It replaced him first ad interim, later definitely Axel Thoma .
Münstermann has been the head coach of FC Luzern Women since June 2016 .
