taking photos

As a photo journalist , Dieter Porsche documents his expeditions in detail. To do this, he uses extensive photo equipment, which is rather unusual for high altitude mountaineering. Thus, from three expeditions in the Himalayas, the illustrated book Mount Everest - Nanga Parbat - Dhaulagiri with over 400, partly large-format photographs, was published in 2009.

The author also processed his experiences at Dhaulagiri (8167 m) in 2003 in the text of the volume Der Weiße Berg , which was also published by Pietsch in 2009. On its website www.alpin-extrem.de , Porsche publishes a series of diary entries, photographs and stories about its alpine activities in the mountains of Germany, Europe and the world.
