societies
Until his move to Eintracht Frankfurt in 1958, he played for 1. FC Gelnhausen . With Eintracht he became German champion in 1959, reached the final of the European Cup in 1960 and played the first three seasons of the Bundesliga, founded in 1963 . Stinka, a post office worker by profession, was a tireless long-runner in the midfield of Eintracht. By the two runners-up in the Oberliga Süd in 1961 and 1962, he played a total of 16 final round matches.
After he was only used four times in the 1965/66 season, he moved to SV Darmstadt 98 , for which he played until 1968. Then he ended his active career.
National team
On October 3, 1959, he was appointed to the B national team in Konstanz in the game against Switzerland . With Willi Schulz and Ferdinand Wenauer he formed the runner row . National coach Sepp Herberger called the left runner of Eintracht three times into the squad of the senior national team: for the international matches on March 8, 1961 in Frankfurt against Belgium, on May 10, 1961 in Berlin against Northern Ireland (World Cup qualifier) and on September 20 1961 in Düsseldorf against Denmark. But it was not used in any of the games. In his regular position, Horst Szymaniak had the advantage on his side since the 1958 World Cup in Sweden.
