Dieter Trawny (born July 25, 1939 ) is a former German soccer player. The defender completed 42 games in the Oberliga West for VfL Bochum between 1959 and 1961 .

career

Dieter Trawny made his debut for the first team of VfL Bochum in the Oberliga West 1959/60 when he was used on January 17, 1960 by coach Herbert Widmayer on the 19th matchday away at FC Schalke 04 as a right defender next to Heinz van den Hövel . Although the Bochumers were able to take the lead through a goal by Dieter Backhaus , they had to admit defeat to Schalke 1: 3 in the end. Trawny formed on July 29, 1961 in the round of 16 of the DFB Cup 1960/61 against FK Pirmasens for coach Hermann Lindemann together with Gerd Wiesemes the Bochum defense. In the second round, the team led by coach Hubert Schieth won the championship in front of Lüner SV .
