Dieter Wendel
Dieter Wendel (born December 30, 1965 in Bayreuth ) is a German church music director , composer and chief trombonist in Bavaria .
After studying music in Würzburg , he began working as a full-time musical assistant in the Association of Protestant Trombone Choirs in Bavaria in 1993 .
He writes mainly for brass . His compositions and arrangements for trombone choirs are distributed throughout Germany, including the German Evangelical Trumpet Day 2008 in Leipzig with a composition by Wendel. He received arrangement and composition commissions a. a. from German Brass , Blechschaden, Culma Brass as well as from several publishers and trombone companies.
