Dieter Wendrich
Dieter Wendrich (born July 25, 1929 in Berlin ; † 1985 ) was a German television director .
biography
After being born and attending school in Berlin, Wendrich studied business administration , psychology and theater studies there . He made his first attempts at directing under Dieter Finnern at the Sender Freies Berlin (radio) . During his studies he worked in the cabaret Die Stachelschweine , where he was responsible for various auxiliary work behind the scenes.
In the 1970s and 1980s, Wendrich was one of the most famous German TV show directors , alongside Ekkehard Böhmer , Dieter Pröttel and Alexander Arnz . Closely related to Dieter Wendrich's television episodes are those of Peter Alexander .
Dieter Wendrich was married (née Bärbel Spanuth) and had three children (Volker, Jessica and Olivia). He died in 1985 after a serious illness.
