Dieter Wruck (born October 21, 1940 in Rostock ) is a German former football player and football functional .

Dieter Wruck came from Lok Rostock in 1960 to the upper division club SC Empor Rostock , for whom he made his debut in the top East German division on May 22nd of the 1960 season . In the final of the FDGB Cup that was reached in the same season , in which Rostock lost 3-2 after extra time to SC Motor Jena , Wruck did not play at Empor after 13 competitive appearances in his first season. In the following season 1961/62 Wruck was with 39 competitive appearances significantly involved in the GDR runner-up in that season and was again runner -up in the following seasons 1962/63 and 1963/64 with Empor.

In 1966/67 Wruck was finally used in the FDGB Cup final and was defeated by BSG Motor Zwickau 3-0 with FC Hansa Rostock , which emerged in 1965 from the soccer department of SC Empor. In 1967/68 Wruck was finally runner-up in the league for the fourth time, with which Hansa took part in the 1968/69 trade fair cup , in which Wruck made two appearances as in the 1969/70 trade fair cup , but Rostock was eliminated in the second round.

After 173 league appearances (three goals), 22 games in the FDGB Cup and four European Cup games, Wruck left FC Hansa in 1970 and joined TSG Wismar for four years .

From 1992 to 1993 Wruck was Vice President of FC Hansa Rostock.
