Dietershofen bei Illertissen (officially Dietershofen b.Illertissen ) is a district of the Buch market in the Swabian district of Neu-Ulm .

Dietershofen is located on the eastern slope of the wide Rothtal about three kilometers north of the main town.

history

The -hofen places declare a settlement at the time of the Alemannic conquest in the 7th / 8th centuries. Century. In the High Middle Ages , Dietershofen was owned by the Counts of Biberegg, after which it was granted several times as a fief. State sovereignty was initially held by the Landshut Wittelsbachers , from 1504 onwards the Habsburgs . The place has been Bavarian since 1805.

On January 1, 1971, the previously independent municipality of Dietershofen near Illertissen was incorporated into the municipality of Obenhausen. Since May 1, 1978, this has been part of the Buch market.
