Halbertshofen is a wasteland and part of the Buch market in the Swabian district of Neu-Ulm .

Halbertshofen is just 2.5 km east of Buch on the western flank of the Bibertal on the connecting road from Nordholz to Ritzisried . To the north there are some ponds that are fed by the beaver.

The place name was originally called Hartbrechtshofen , i.e. the court of a Hartbrecht.

Before the municipal area reform , part of the place belonged to the municipality of Buch, another part to Nordholz, both parts had 14 inhabitants at the 1950 census. Nordholz was incorporated into Buch in 1978.
