Dietisberg is a hamlet in the municipality of Wünnewil-Flamatt . It is located on the hill of the same name south of Wünnewil at 651 m above sea level. M.
Dietisberg is located on the connecting road from Schmitten FR to Ueberstorf , on an open tongue of land exactly south of Wünnewil. The 70 m deep valley cuts of the Zirkelgraben and the taverna separate the village from Wünnewil, which can be reached via a side street. Dietisberg is not served by public transport.
In the Middle Ages there was a knight's castle in the hamlet of Dietisberg. The Knights of Dietisberg are documented for the period from 1173 to 1394. In Dietisberg there is also a chapel which is dedicated to St. Wendelin .
