Dietmar Riemer

Dietmar-Christian Riemer (born October 24, 1951 in Krefeld ) is a German radio journalist.

Riemer studied political science and law at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg and the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel . He became a member of the Corps Rhenania Freiburg (1973) and the Corps Palaiomarchia-Masovia (1975). After completing his master's degree , he was a reporter and editor at Süddeutscher Rundfunk from 1980 . In 1989 he became Head of Domestic Policy at Bayerischer Rundfunk . After the German reunification in 1992 he went back to the north and was program director of NDR 1 Radio MV in Schwerin for 10 years . In 2003 he became head of service at NDR Kultur . On January 1, 2004, he became head of the NDR studio in the ARD capital studio in Berlin. He retired in May 2016.
