Nadeesha Dilhani Lekamge (born January 14, 1987 in Eheliyagoda ) is a Sri Lankan javelin thrower .
Athletic career
Dilhani Lekamge gained her first international experience at the 2013 Asian Championships in Pune , where she took eighth place with a width of 50.98 m. In 2016 she was fourth at the South Asian Games in Guwahati with 52.17 m and the following year she won the silver medal behind Chinese Li Lingwei at the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar with 58.11 m . In 2018 she took part in the Commonwealth Games in the Australian Gold Coast for the first time and reached fifth place with a throw of 56.02 m. The following year she won the South Asian Games in Kathmandu with a throw of 55.02 m.
In 2009 and 2010 as well as in 2012, 2016 and 2018, Lekamge became Sri Lankan javelin champion.
