Dimitar Iwanow Evtimow ( Bulgarian Димитър Иванов Евтимов ; born September 7, 1993 in Shumen ) is a Bulgarian football player who has been under contract with Burton Albion since 2018 .
Career
Nottingham Forest
In July 2011 the 17-year-old Dimitar Evtimow moved from his Bulgarian homeland to the youth academy of the English second division club Nottingham Forest . In the course of the first half of the 2011/12 season he played briefly on loan for the lower class clubs FC Ilkeston and Gainsborough Trinity . In July 2013, another loan to the English fifth division club Nuneaton Town followed. He made his debut for Nottingham Forest on April 21, 2014 when he came on for Dorus de Vries in the 80th minute in a 2-0 away win over Leeds United . On August 19, he moved on loan to fourth division club Mansfield Town and played ten league games in Football League Two by early January 2015 .
In the summer of 2015, the young goalkeeper signed a new four-year contract with Forest. On August 31, 2016, the club awarded him to SC Olhanense . Until his return to Nottingham in January 2017, he played twelve league games for the Portuguese second division side .
