Dsmitryj Schychau ( white soot. Дзмітрый Шыхаў; born 10. October 1973 ) is a former Belarusian biathlete .

In 1996 he made several appearances in the Biathlon World Cup . In his first race, an individual in Osrblie , he was 87. He finished the following sprint race as well as his last race, again a sprint in Hochfilzen , as 42nd and thus with his best result in the highest racing series in international biathlon. He achieved his greatest success at the Biathlon European Championships in Minsk in 1998 , when he won the bronze medal behind the representations of Germany and Norway as the final runner with Igor Pesterew , Alexander Iwanowski and Iwan Pesterew as the final runner with the relay of Belarus.
