Ihar Pesterew (born May 14, 1974 ) is a former Belarusian biathlete .

Ihar Pesterew played sporadically between 1996 and 1998 in the biathlon world cup . He contested his first race at an individual in Osrblie , where he was 70th. In Pokljuka he achieved his best World Cup result with a 37th place in the 1998 sprint. Pesterew celebrated his greatest success at the 1998 European Biathlon Championships in Minsk . In the title fights in his home country he was with Alexander Iwanowski , Iwan Pesterew and Dimitri Schichow with the relay, in which he was used as a starting runner, the bronze medal behind the representations from Germany and Norway.
