Dina Ahmed el-Tabaa (born September 13, 1991 ) is an Egyptian pole vaulter .

Athletic career

Dina el-Tabaa gained her first international experience at the Arab Junior Championships 2006 in Cairo , where she won the silver medal with 3.20 m, before winning the gold medal four years later also in Cairo with equalizing the championship record of 3.40 m. In 2011 she won the bronze medal at the Pan-Arab Games in Doha with 3.30 m behind the Moroccan Nisrine Dinar and Dorra Mahfoudhi from Tunisia. In 2015 she won the bronze medal at the Arab Championships in Manama with 3.60 m behind the Tunisian Syrine Balti and Dinar and in 2016 she finished fifth at the African Championships in Durban with a skipped 3.50 m. In 2018 she was twelfth at the Mediterranean Games in Tarragona with 3.91 m and won the silver medal behind the Tunisian Mahfoudhi with a new national record of 4.05 m at the African Championships in Asaba , as well as at the 2019 Arab Championships in Cairo with 3.90 m . At the end of August she took part in the Africa Games in Rabat for the first time , where she won the bronze medal behind Mahfoudhi and her compatriot Fatma el-Bendary with 4.00 m .

In 2016 el-Tabaa became Egyptian champion in the pole vault.
