Dinamo Obor Bucharest was a Romanian football club from Bucharest . Although he never played in the highest Romanian football league , Divizia A , he was in the final of the Romanian football cup 1959/60 .

history

Dinamo Obor Bucharest was founded in 1949 as a reserve team for Dinamo Bucharest under the name Dinamo 6 . The club played in the second Romanian division, Divizia B, for the first time in the 1954 season . He was able to place himself in midfield for three years in a row. In 1957 it was renamed Dinamo Obor . In 1958 the name was changed to AS Pompierul ( German firefighter ), before the name Dinamo Obor was adopted again in early 1959 . In the season 1959/60 Dinamo Obor celebrated his greatest successes. In the league, the club reached second place in Season II behind Știința Timișoara . In the Romanian Cup he moved to the final after successes over Rapid Bucharest , Minerul Lupeni and Știinia Timișoara, where he lost 2-0 to Progresul Bucharest . In game operations, the club rose after further placements in the front midfield at the end of the 1962/63 season and was dissolved.  

In 1971 the Dinamos reserve team was re-established under the name Dinamo-Victoria Bucharest .
