Dino Falconi

Dino Falconi (actually Corrado Falconi , born September 18, 1902 in Livorno , † February 17, 1990 in Milan ) was an Italian comedy writer, screenwriter and film director .

Life

Falconi wrote numerous forms of art and criticism: he wrote theatrical comedies and reviews, worked for television as well as for radio, and was a journalist for Il Popolo d'Italia . As the son of actor Armando Falconi and theater actress Tina Di Lorenzo , he came into contact with the performing arts as a child.

Mostly in collaboration with other authors (including Angelo Frattini and, particularly often, Oreste Biancoli ) he wrote numerous successful pieces for actors such as Vittorio De Sica , Sergio Tofano and Antonio Gandusio , musical revues such as "Op-là", "Triangoli" and "Ma che male ti fò ”, in which female stars like Anna Magnani or Lia Zoppelli played and several scripts for films. Even today, he staged forgotten works himself three times.
