Dintenhofen is a district of the city of Ehingen in the Alb-Donau district in Baden-Württemberg .
The hamlet is about two and a half kilometers south of Ehingen and can be reached via highway 255.
history
Dintenhofen was first mentioned in a document in 1088. Alemannic grave finds were made north of the place on the boundary against Dettingen .
In the 12th century, Dintenhofen was the eponymous seat of presumably noble free people . The defunct castle stood on the Kapellenberg behind the chapel.
Dintenhofen was incorporated into Ehingen with Herbertshofen in 1973 .
