Robert Putzinger

Robert Putzinger (* 1979 in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee , Carinthia ) is an Austrian actor , theater director , drama teacher and singer ( baritone ).

Life

Robert Putzinger initially trained as a curative teacher . He studied opera singing at the Klagenfurt Conservatory (1995–1997) and, from 1997 to 2001, acting at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna , where he a. a. had lessons with Klaus Maria Brandauer , István Szabó , Samy Molcho , Bernd Birkhahn and Karlheinz Hackl . Later he took private singing lessons with Johanna Stojkovic (Berlin), with Karl Oblasser (Vienna) and took a master class with Peter Svensson .

While still a student he appeared as a servant Laurant in Tartuffe (director: Stephan Märki ) at the Schlosstheater Schönbrunn and as a bang in the Nestroy poses The Dyer and his twin brother at the Vienna Burgtheater . From 2001 to 2004 he was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Hans-Otto-Theater in Potsdam . He played there u. a. the male lead Brad Majors in the musical Rocky Horror Show (directed by Philippe Besson ), first questioner Albert Speer (directed by Alexander Lang ) and worked as a male part of the "schmaltzy" singing duo "Moni and Horst" the partner of Rita field Meier in the comedy Der Feuerwehrball by Herbert Olschok .

Robert Putzinger has been a freelance actor since 2004. In 2005 he appeared at the Neuköllner Oper in Berlin in the operetta Die Rose von Stambul in the Buffo part of Fridolin. In the 2007/08 season he performed at the Hans-Otto-Theater in Potsdam and at the Landestheater Neustrelitz as Dr. Falcon in the operetta Die Fledermaus (Director: Adriana Altaras ). In 2008 he was a guest at the “Volxbühne Klagenfurt” with the play The Bartered Grandfather . From the 2006/07 season until the end of the 2012/13 season (2012/13 season) Putzinger also appeared regularly in various productions at the Stadttheater Ingolstadt , a. a. as Pickel in Nigel Williams ' play Klassenfeind , as adjutant Schulz in To Be or Not to Be , in Cyrano de Bergerac and in children's and youth productions.

Further engagements followed in 2010 in the Vienna Metropol and at the Burgfestspiele in the Burgarena Finkenstein . From 2011 to 2015 he played the title role in the musical Phantom der Oper by Arndt Gerber (music) and Paul Wilhelm (text) in a touring production .

Putzinger also worked for television and film. He shot for the cinema with Karl Markovics and Andreas Schmied ( Harri Pinter, Drecksau ). In the television film If you know how beautiful it is here (2015) from the country crime film series, he embodied the "witty and humorous" village policeman Gerry Oblitschnig at the side of Gerhard Liebmann . In 2016, alongside Katrin Lux and Thomas Unger, he had an episode role in the Austrian TV series SOKO Donau as the best friend of a missing café owner. He was also seen in a supporting role in the TV miniseries Murderous Valley - Pregau .

From 2009 Robert Putzinger lived and worked as a freelance actor and singer again in Vienna, later he moved to Feldkirchen in Carinthia . In addition to his work as an actor, he regularly works as a drama teacher and acts as the director of drama seminars in Carinthia. As a theater director he staged several performances with Carinthian amateur and amateur theater ensembles .

His brother is the actor Richard Putzinger , who has been a permanent member of the Ingolstadt Theater ensemble since 2006.
