Dettingen is a district of the city of Ehingen in the Alb-Donau district in Baden-Württemberg . In 1939 Dettingen was incorporated into Ehingen, the district of Stetten became part of the Kirchen community .

The village on the edge of the Danube lowlands is about one and a half kilometers south of Ehingen and can be reached via the 255 road.

history

Dettingen is first handed down in 1295. The place belonged to the rule of the Counts von Berg , later to Upper Austria . At least since the 16th century he was part of the Ehingen rule .

In 1805 Dettingen came to Württemberg and was affiliated with the Ehingen District Office.
