Dirinella is a village on Lake Maggiore in the canton of Ticino near the Italian border.

It is 197 m above sea level. M. Dirinella is a district of the municipality of Gambarogno (formerly the municipality of Caviano , to which, in addition to Dirinella, the districts of Caviano, Scaiano and Monti di Caviano belonged). The border between Switzerland and Italy runs near the Dirinella Gorge .
