Dirk Bamberger (* 8. October 1972 in Marburg ) is a German politician of the CDU . He has been a member of the Hessian state parliament since 2019 .

Life

Bamberger works as a banker at the Sparkasse Marburg-Biedenkopf . He is a qualified savings bank economist.

Bamberger joined the CDU and was elected chairman of the CDU Marburg in November 2015. Since April 2016 he has been a member of the Marburg city council. In the state elections in Hesse in 2018 , he ran as a direct candidate for the CDU in constituency 13 (Marburg-Biedenkopf II) and was elected to the Hessian state parliament with 28.7% of the first votes . In the state parliament he is a member of the committee for economy, energy, transport and housing as well as the petitions committee.

Dirk Bamberger lives in Marburg, is married and has three children.

Political offices

Bamberger was a member of the board of the CDU local association Marburg-Altstadt from 2005 to 2015 and has been chairman of the CDU Marburg since 2015. In March 2016 he was elected as a city councilor in the Marburg city parliament and has held the office of deputy chairman of the CDU parliamentary group there since April 2016.
