Dirk Boll (* 1970 in Kassel ) is a German art dealer .

Life

Boll studied law in Göttingen and Freiburg i. Br. After his legal clerkship in Stuttgart and Brussels, he completed a postgraduate course in cultural management in Ludwigsburg . He then did his doctorate on the structures and framework conditions of the art markets.

He has been working for Christie's auction house since 1998 , initially in London; In 2000 he became a representative in Stuttgart . From 2004 to 2011 he was managing director of the Swiss subsidiary in Zurich. In 2011 he returned to London as Managing Director for Continental Europe. He has been President of Christie's EMERI (Europe & UK, Middle East, Russia & India) since 2017.
